Hello everyone, I would like to announce a new website for Portuguese Hawaiian Researchers. The web address is: www.islandroutes.com Many Portuguese in Monterey County can trace their roots to Hawaii and then back to Azores/Madeira/Portugal. The main goal of the website is to help people locate the resources needed to do their Portuguese Hawaiian genealogies. It will also cover historical topics, stories, and other topics which Portuguese researchers will find informative. The website has areas for articles (older articles can be found under "free articles"), newspaper/magazine stories, web links, user tips, and user questions. Other areas may be added in the future.
