Mrs. Riso, born March 28, 1893, in Isola del Femine, Italy, lived at 226 Van Buren St. Her husband, Genaro Riso, died Jan. 19, 1975. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Rose Bruno and Mrs. Angie Bruno, both of Monterey; Mrs. Frances Cardinalli of Pacific Grove, Mrs. Mary Lococo of San Jose and Miss Jennie Riso of Monterey; seven sons, Genaro Riso Jr., Neno, Jack, Salvatore, and Vincent Riso, all of Monterey; Peter Riso of Salinas and Paul Riso of Pleasant Hill; a sister, Mrs. Mary Riso of Pittsburg, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The rosary will be recited today at 8 p.m. at the Mission Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at San Carlos Cathedral, following Prayers for the Departed at 9 a.m. at the mortuary. Entombment will be in San Carlos Cemetery.
