Although he had been in a doctor's care, death was unexpected. Mr. Audlt was born Sept. 19, 1913, in Indianapolis, Ind., and had been a resident of Pacific Grove for the past 30 years. He worked for 25 years as a carpenter and was a member of Carpenters Union Local 1323 of Monterey during that time. Mr. Ault was last employed by Joe Fratessa Construction Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the American legion Post in Gilroy and Pacific Grove Lodge 331, F&AM, and of the Christian Church of Columbus, Ind. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Ault of Pacific Grove; his daughter, Sereta M. Lindsey of Pacific Grove, and grandchildren Brady and Deano Lindsey, also of Pacific Grove. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Paul Mortuary, with Lodge 331 officiating, with burial to follow at El Carmelo Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary until 9 p.m.today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
