I am looking for any information on Charles Partin and I beleive his wife's name was Alice. I'm not sure when they moved to California, but they left Tennessee and moved to Salinas at some point and at one time ran a company called the ALTUS MACHINE & BOILER COMPANY. After that, I beleive they ran a beet factory. I have a postcard with the picture of the SPRECKLES SUGAR FACTORY, SALINAS CA. This was probably around 1900 or so.
