Dona: While at the Monterey County Recorder's Office yesterday, I had a chance to search Book 2, Index to Marriage Licenses 1906 - 1923, for Fancher entries both male and female. Here are all of the entries I found in the index. If you would like any of the records transcribed, I have one more trip to make to the Recorder's (probably next week) and I will see what I can do. Note that it is not likely that parents' names will be recorded in the documents of these early years. Also, the date of record is not always the date of marriage; it is the date the marriage was recorded in the county.
