Site Update ... 26 July 2001 ================================= Just a quick note to let everone know about the exciting new items added to the Monterey Co. site in the last couple of weeks. If you haven't had a chance to visit the site - please take a few moments to check it out. Census is being put on-line. Most of this census has been uploaded at this point ... the remaining pages will be uploaded next week. http://www.cagenweb.com/monterey/1850/1850.htm Also through Anita's hard work, the 1875 Monterey Co. Directory is being added to the site. So far, surnames starting with the letters "A" through "Q" have been uploaded. Regiment of New York Volunteers who mustered out at Monterey. The names of men in Company A have been included in this week's update.
