Hi Everyone, A few people have asked about the variations in California rainfall over the years. I found this URL <http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/coop-precip> which includes not only California, but all states. The text file is very lengthy but shows year-by-year, month-by-month rainfall for all the reporting stations in California. Only a few stations have data going back to 1900. Most start around 1931, or later. You will need to know the names of surrounding towns or cities to the location you are interested in to get an accurate idea of the rainfall for that specific place. I'm still working with the data, but it is pretty interesting stuff. Hope this helps, Anita C. Monterey County
