Posted on: Monterey County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ca/Monterey/467 Surname: OLLASON, BOLCE, SNIVELY, KING ------------------------- I'm looking for information on the family of OLLASONs who came to settle in Monterey Co.,CA about 1870 from Scotland. I know there was a Sinclair, a William, a Lawrence, a Charles F., someone with the initial "O", and perhaps a J.S. Ollason as well (although he may be Siclair). Sinclair married my great, great aunt Mary Elizabeth Bolce in 1874. They lived in the Carmel Valley some time until Sinclair and their daughter died of tuberculosis. They had two boys:Wallace Edward (1880) & Stanley Willard (1882). I'd like to know more about the other siblings of Sinclair and, especially, the parents, so I can make that jump to the Shetlands. Any information greatfully appreciated. I've got some more details if anyone is interested in the Sinclair line. Stephen C. Miller sanka@gateway.net
