Fox of Salinas died unexpectedly Monday at Natividad Medical Center. He was 76. Mr. Fox was a native of Lakeview, Ore., and he lived in Salinas for 36 years. He was a retired diesel truck mechanic and was employed by Commercial Truck Co. in Salinas for 30 years. Mrs. Fox is survived by his son, Deane W. Fox of Salinas, his daughter, Sheri Harrell of Salinas; his brother, Roy J. Fox of Gustine; his sister, Ethel Schendel of Concord; and six grandchildren. Private funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Struve and Laporte Funeral Home chapel.
