Hi, I've checked the Salinas paper for the 2 weeks following the date of death -- no obit was published. I realize you got this info from the SSDI (not CADI), but the place the SSDI gives is the last address of record, not the place of death. Obviously this person moved without informing the SSA -- she is not listed in CADI. I thought that maybe her obit would be published as a former resident, but although there were lots of former residents' obits, Lynn's was not one of them. Does anyone know if there are listings online for any of the cemeteries in Salinas area? In particular I am wanting data for THE GARDEN OF MEMORIES on Abbott street. I have relatives there but none who are willing to do the leg and or picture work. I am now in a wheelchair which makes it all but impossible to get the pictures and locational data that I need.
