Hello to this web site, and all of its readers and especially to the wonderful people that do this site for us to get information. I sure appreciate them all. I am getting ready to write my book, on the surnames in the subject of this email, and of course other connecting names. If any one can add to these names. Willis Warren, and family forward and back. Louise Emily Baxter, wife of George Stewart Warren. they had children: Birdie Georgia Warren, she married David Naylor Windbegler Bryant they had 13 children: 1 was Zelma May Bryant, md. George Bennett Sawtelle, they had 4 children. Merle, Merval, MaryAnn, George McAlister Sawtelle. Merle, Merval born in Eagleville, Modoc Co., CA and the others in Ca elsewhere The father of George Bennett Sawtelle's father was Amaziah Sawtell, and he married 3 times, first wife Mary Black, they had a lot of kids. 2nd wife, Mary Ann Jumper, my lineage from here on down, they had a lot of kids too. from this line came: Frederick Adolphus Sawtelle, and he married: Hattie Elenor Heselton, however she first was married to Harry N. Nolan/Nolen, he was born abt. 1844 in Kentucky, came to California later. They had children: Frank, Nettie and Arthur Nolan Frank married Cecila M Murphy in 1881, married on Nov. 20, 1901, they had: Gertrude M Nolan born April 14, 1903 Charles Nolan born April 27, 1905 Edna V Nolan born 1907 Myrtle Ellen Nolan Dec. 17, 1907. (it could possibly be that Edna and Myrtle could have been twins, I am not sure yet. (It was very difficult finding out the order of names for the wife of Frederick A. Sawtelle. It turns out this way: Hattie Elenor Hesselton. Her mother's name: Hattie Elenor Moore married the Hesselton man, I do not know his first and second name yet. Hattie's mother: Hattie Elenor Moore born Aug. 1, 1830 in Exeter, New Hampshire, died March 24, 1912 in Sierraville, Sierra Co., Ca., she was buried Mar 27, 1912 in Sierraville, Sierra Co., CA, her father was Benjamine Moore and her mom was Elenor Jewell, Hattie after the Heselton man married Edmund Higgins Hamlin, various spellings. See when Fred A. Sawtelle married what I call our Hattie, she was first married to Nolan, and had those kids, they either divorce, or he just left, then she married Fred. Some of the children of Fred and Hattie's always thought that her maiden name was Hamlin, but she was using her step-dad's name, some of the children did know that her maiden name was Heselton. I have birth and death certificates to prove all this. And finding the truth, was very difficult as you know it can be. Children of Mr. Heselton, and Hattie Elenor Moore were: Arthur Heselton Ambrose Mason Heselton, b. 1848 in Maine Died Sept. 26, 1911 in Sac., Sac. Co., Ca, burial Sept 28, 1911 in Loyalton, Ca., did not live long. Lillie M. Heselton born abt. 1856 in Sierraville, Sierra Co., Va., married Oct. 2, 1895 in Sierraville, Sierra co., Ca., married a John A. all I have for him. then Hattie Elenor Heselton, b. Sept. 5, 1857 in Maine, died Jan. 17, 1924 at 357 West 67th St., Los Angeles, Ca., burial Jan. 219, 1924, in Inglewood Park Cemetery, in Los angeles, Ca., married on Jan. 3, 1875 in Sierraville, Ca., to Spouse Harry N. Nolan, the married Dec. 7, 18790 to Frederick Adolphus Sawtelle, in buffalo Meadows, Washoe Co., Nevada. next email if someone requests will continue with the children they had. An important thing is this, I learn from Tim Purdy, that Fred Sawtelle, was aka as coon Sawtelle, (apparently he hunted raccoons for their skins and sold them, well it was in my researching that I also found his father Amaziah Sawtell did the same thing, and some of the fathers way back. Also I have possession of a picture of Amaziah Sawtell, and his second wife, Mary Ann Jumper, which is my line, and then when Mary died, Amaziah married a Mrs. Lucy Walker and she helped to raise what children needed cared for. they had no children. I hope this might help someone, and in return maybe someone can connect to these names and email me direct perhaps _fenske51@aol.com_ (mailto:fenske51@aol.com) Ivy Fenske
