I use Family Tree Maker and show it under "Facts" as "Nickname" "Betty" (as an example for "Elizabeth Jones" and "Betty Jones" under A.K.A. Or if "John George Reynolds" goes by "George" under "Facts" as "Nickname" "George" and under A.K.A. "George Reynolds". But what about after marriage, assuming the two people above are married, how would you show her nickname/A.K.A.? Leave her as is, change to "Betty Reynolds", change to "Betty Jones-Reynolds"??
