I spoke to the Co. Recorder to see if the State would have more information on the circumstances of the cause of death and she said no. I called Sarah at the Merced Courthouse Museum, explaining I was looking for any records from the Co. Coroner that would include "Inquiry Autopsy" to the cause of death...when she gets a free moment she'll check...probably within a week or so. I didn't call Ivers and Alcorn, I'm sure there records would only contain a copy of the death cert and information pertaining to her funeral.. What was the name of the newspaper you found the article in?, I'll check a few weeks past her death date....Wish I could have found more......Alma
