Mr. Mello was a Truck Driver for Bartlett Petroleum for 14 years. Mr. Mello is survived by his wife Sandy Mello of Merced; his daughters, Mary Mello of Corvallis, OR, Liz DeJardins of Portland, OR, Rhonda Pederson of Portland, OR, Christine Mello of Klamata Falls, OR, Cindy Cummings of Portland, OR; brothers Edward Mello of Portland, OR, David Mello of Portland, OR; sister Peggy Polard of Lodi, CA and 15 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Merced District Cemetery, with Robert Henson officiating. Remembrances will be made to Hinds Hospice - P.O. Box 763, Merced, CA. All services are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Chapel.
