The search for a marriage record for Madura & Reuben was neg. for Merced Co., your best chance would be Stanislaus Co.. I found his death notice in 3 newspapers, he didn't have a dc on file. The information on his death notice gave clues to where he lived at the time of his death. This area is called the West Side, it is on the boarder of Merced / Stanislaus counties, the towns closest are Gustine & Newman. The location's are Sturgeon & Cottonwood, I did find Cottonwood Cemetery on Cottonwood Rd., Gustine, this cemetery is under the care of Hills Ferry Cemetery Dist., I called Hills Ferry yesterday and left a message, I couldn't wait for a response so I called this morning. He doesn't have a listing of occupants but had gave my number to Sarah Huff, she's doing the research for this cemetery. Until she calls we won't know if Reuben is there,my hunch is that he's in this cemetery, cross your fingers.
