He was born Sept. 18, 1931 in Los Angeles. He owned and managed a mobile home detailing business for 27 years. Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Gonzales of La Puente, Randi Metchnikoff of Riverside, and Joy Long of Hunting Beach [should be Huntington Beach]; one son, Alex Metchnikoff of Apple Valley; a sister, Collette Mitchell of Tehachapi; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
