Edmondson WINDSOR - At her request, no services will be held for Marjorie L. Edmondson who died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000. Mrs. Edmondson won numerous awards from local groups in Windsor including the Lions, the Grange, Head Start, the Board of Supervisors and the Chamber of Commerce. In 1984, she was named the "Duchess of Windsor." She retired from the Council on Aging eight years ago where was a site manager. She is survived by her son, Atwin King and his wife Bonnie of Redwood Valley; daughter, Ernestine Jansse of Windsor; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and four siblings. She was preceded in death by her husbands Ernie King and Joseph Edmondson, and sons Michael and Frank King, Donations may be made to ones favorite charity in her memory. Arrangements are under the direction of The Neptune Society of Northern California.
