Talbert Funeral Tuesday Services for Horace R. Talbert of Ukiah will be from the Zimmerman Mortuary Tuesday, December 18, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Albert C. Young, pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, the officiating minister. Interment will be in the Ukiah Masonic Cemetery. Mr. Talbert passed away at the Ukiah General Hospital Friday, December 14. He was born at Quincy, Illinois, October 29, 1888. He was business agent and financial secretary of the Carpenters Union Local at Ukiah, coming to Ukiah from Coquille and Portland, Oregon, six years ago. Surviving members of the family are Mrs. Pauline Talbert of Ukiah and the following children: Mrs. Ann Davis of Ukiah, Mrs. Ellen Duvall and Mrs. Leitha Kistner of Coquille, Oregon, Mrs. Helen Gittings, Mrs. Ruth Pomrenke and Mrs. Grace Williams of Bremerton, Washington, Mrs. Hazel Rorabaugh of Black Foot, Idaho, Mrs. Elizabeth Wenger of Long Beach, California, Claude R. Talbert of Portland, and Ralph Troudt of Paramount, California. There are 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grand children. Pallbearers will be Ralph Knutson, Matt Russell, Herb Pavlovic, Austin Hall, Joe Beard, Joe Lundeen. Honorary pallbearers, Frank Barron, Harry Britton, Elmer Bruce, Frank Duboise, Tom Car, C. V.
