Marble, for many years a resident of this city and a pioneer blacksmith of Cahto, in the northern part of the county, died at his home here Saturday at the age of 73 years. He was born in Oregon in 1847 and after serving in the Civil War came to this county to make his home. His wife died several years ago and he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Davidson of Willits, and a sister, Mrs. Dana Brown of Oakland. The funeral was held Tuesday and interment took place in the local cemetery.
