DEL CARLO Henry A. Del Carlo, 57, a life-long resident of Fort Bragg, passed away at a local hospital, Thursday, November 8, after an illness. Mr. Del Carlo had been employed as a millworker all his life, retiring from Boise Cascade in 1970. During World War II he served with the U.S. Army and in 1945 married the former Dorothy Johnstone in England. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Edward and Henry Del Carlo, of Fort Bragg; a daughter, Margaret Nahler, Sacramento; his mother, Mrs. Nella Del Carlo, Fort Bragg; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Angela Burns and Mrs. Marian Lotten, both of Fort Bragg; a brother, Nello Del Carlo, also of Fort Bragg. A prayer service was held Saturday afternoon, November 10, at the Chapel of the Cain-Grove and Haverfield Funeral Home. Rev. Father Sixtus Cavagnaro, O.F.M. officiated at the services and at the committal in Rose Memorial Park. Friends serving as escorts included Axel Anderson, Felix Thompson, Lawrence Fereira, Manuel Mello, David Guisti and Worthy Lewis.
