Surnames: Johnson Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/UW.2ADE/1851 Message Board Post: Point Arena Record Point Arena, CA April 23, 1915 Killed by Train Jack Johnson, a well known woodsman of this coast, was killed at Greenwood Monday. He had been employed by the company as filer in one of the camps, but went to town and lingered too long at the shrine of Bacchus. In a stupid condition he lay down on the railroad track, but when the train came along he pulled himself together and got off the track. Whether or not he attempted to board the train is not known, but in some way he got mangled. Deceased formerly worked at Gualala. The remains were buried Tuesday at Cuffey's Cove.
