Tock, of Fish Rock, was found on the beach near where she fell over the bluff into the ocean and was drowned. It will be remembered, that on last Tuesday afternoon - the 7th inst., Elsie wandered away from home and all the effort of searching parties failed to find her, except that of her footprints leading to the bluff's edge, and other evidences which lead to the belief that she had fallen over it. The finding of the little girl's body, which washed ashore Wednesday evening, settled beyond doubt the manner of the little girl's death. Yesterday morning, Deputy Coroner Slack went down and held an inquest, the coroner's jury empanneled finding a verdict in accordance with the above facts. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and the interment was made in the Fish Rock cemetery, Rev. J.W. Robinson conducting the services at the home ! and grave. Mr. and Mrs. Tock have the deepest sympathy of neighbors and the community at large in the bereavement and loss, as Elsie was the only daughter.
