Cuthbertson It is reported here this week that R.H. Cuthbertson, a former well known pioneer resident of the Manchester district, had died at Palo Alto on the 6th of October and the funeral had taken place on Friday, October 10th, but no particulars could be learned. Mr. Cuthbertson was one of the early pioneers of this section, about 78 years of age. He is survived by a widow, who is also reported very low, suffering from pneumonia, and ten children, six boys and four girls who were born and reared here. Mr. Cuthbertson with family moved to Palo Alto some five or six years ago. In the years spent here, Mr. Cuthbertson always took an active part in the development of this section and of the coast and its moral uplift, and was admired and respected by all his neighbors and associates, who will be pained to hear of his death.
