Deceased had been sick for a long time and the end was not unexpected. Mrs. C. A. Linscott was with her brother when he passed away. Mr. Bever was a native of Missouri and was 73 years of age. He came to California in 1860, and has lived on this coast most of the time since. He was well thought of by his neighbors and friends.
