Ukiah Daily Journal Thursday, May 9, 1963 Archibald Burke Rites Saturday On Saturday at 10:30 a.m. funeral services will be held at the Zimmerman Mortuary for Archibald (Arch) burke, 71, of 477 46th Avenue, Oakland, who died May 6 at the Highland Hospital, Oakland. Interment will be in Ukiah Cemetery. Mr. burke was born in Ukiah on Oct. 6, 1891. His family came to Ukiah with the orginal settlers. for many years he was a hunting guide and engaged in trapping. He also was a hop dryer and farmer for many years. His wife Grace died in 1956. A son Nevel Burke who survived him, resides in Oakland. Other survivors are a brother Vixtor Burke of Oakland and two sisters Mrs. T. Wood of Piedmont and Mrs. Stella Pizzoti of Oakland. Other living relatives are five grandchildren.
