Ukiah News Thursday, May 6, 1954 Funerals and Obituaries Grace Burke Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Burke, 55, who died April 29 in Ukiah, were held Sunday, May 2, from the Eversole Mortuary. The Rev. Robert Groves officiated and burial was in Ukiah Cemetery. Pallbearers included Herman Runkel, Bab Stambaugh, Louie Zaina, Gerald McNulty, Robert Reed and Bob Stambaugh, Jr. Mrs. Burke was born Nov. 22, 1898, in Oregon and had resided in this community for many years. Survivors include her husband, Arch Burke of Pine Ridge; five children, Mrs. Winona Mathews, Smith River; Nevel Burke, U. S. army; Walter Almy, U. S. air force; Marjorie Dory, Ukiah and Alice Bachman, San Leandro, and four brothers, Buck Beckwith, Orange, Walter, George and William Beckwith, all of Redwood Valley.
