She was buried beside her husband in the Zenith Cemetery in Mendocino on Saturday, the 26th. Birdie had many friends in the area who well remember her pleasant and helpful personality, though she has been away from here for about two years. Her husband was the son of the Comptche earliest pioneers and Birdie's parents were also early settlers in the Albion area.
