Her Christmas had been a very enjoyable one. She ate a hearty dinner, was in the best of spirits and felt well up to 11 o'clock in the evening, when she quietly responded to the silent call. Mrs. Lee was born in New York on July 31, 1816, and was 99 years, 4 months and 25 days old. She was a kind and devoted woman and was dearly loved by all who knew her. She came to California in 1885 and has resided in Fort Bragg for the past 11 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Elvira Raymond of Fort Bragg and several grand and great grand children. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Baptist Church and interment took place in the Ft. Bragg Cemetery.
