Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UW.2ADE/1822 Message Board Post: Am looking for descendants of Asa Marshall (1841-1911), who moved his family from Michigan to Fort Bragg, Mendocino County about 1886. He was married to Ellen Blakely (1846-1921) or Blakesly in Michigan. They had six children: Jennie (1867-1944) m. Dr. Harry Alonzo McChesney Esther (b. 1870) m. Andrew Semple (moved to Washington state) Edith (1876-1923) m. 1) ____ Kidwell, and 2) Frank Lawrence John Jay (1880-1940) m. Opal Dinwiddie Asa Charles (c1882-1965) m. Julia G. Clifford D. (1885-1968), m. Alice L. (Clifford was well known as "Pop" Marshall in Fort Bragg in his adult years) The father Asa Marshall was my great-grandfather's brother. I have located some Semple relatives in Washington state (descendants of Esther and Andrew). Would like to find any other relatives from this line. I don't believe that Asa Charles or Clifford D. Marshall had any children. I'm not sure whether Jennie Marshall McChesney had any children. John Jay Marshall and Edith Marshall Lawrence did have children. Thanks for any help you can give.
