I received a newspaper article from my cousin about a Native American Reconciliation gathering at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds on Feb 24th at 7 pm in the fairgrounds Building "B" at Fairgrounds Road and Highway 49 south. It says events on Saturday and Sunday are open to the public and there is no admission fee. There is also a website at: www.sierrafaithcenter.org and clicking on "Honoring Native Americans" or calling 966-5090 or Doris Taylor of Aglow at 966-4612. It says the purpose of the event is to extend apologies for the atrocities committed by the white man for the last 500 years, to honor the Indian culture and will be attended by many Indian tribes and races. Perhaps if someone goes to this event they can report back to us. I wish I lived closer so I could attend this event. Sharon
