Found this snippet in the paper yesterday. Twenty-fives years ago today: Funeral service for Nathan SWEET have been set for Monday. Sweet was a local historian who was considered an authority on the development of Madera and Mariposa Counties. He and his widow were Grand Marshals of the Sierra Mountaineer Days parade in 1971. I know he was involved in the Fresno Flats and Madera Museums and probably Mariposa. I know he wrote many books and articles about Madera and Mariposa. If you get a chance check out the Museum and Library. Perhaps they have some of his work there. Harriet
