Mel, At one time and I can't remember the year, there was a special census done in Mariposa. Might this have some connection? Or something to do with proving homesteads? Not much help am I.:>) Don't suppose the clerks know. It sounds like a valuable asset. Would love to see the list when you have time to catch up.
