ok..i have someone off the list searching for a Native named "Mary" that married a James Cowan. I have an Mariposa obit for a Cowan that says he lived near Grant Springs. WHERE is Grant Springs?? I want to search the 1880 census and have no idea where to start. Anyone ring bells with Cowan? Also...obit says the sole relative is a Mrs. Graham. I think this is Mrs. James Monroe Graham aka Roxie or Rosie. She appears in the 1920 census in Ahwahnee, Madera. Sharon
