Dear Listers, Tomorrow is Memorial Day - a time to remember those that have fought for the freedoms we enjoy today. To that end, I would like to hear from all those that are veterans, wives of veterans, children of veterans, etc. about your or your loved ones' service. In my own family, the call to arms in defense of our freedom has run strong. My father fought in WWII and his brother gave his life in France. My grandfather fought in the Spanish-American War and suffered much with Malaria as a result. My great-grandfather fought in the Civil War and two of my 4th great grandfather fought in the Revolutionary War. I"m very greatful to them and their comrades for the freedom I enjoy every day. To all of you who are veterans, I say a big "Thank You" for the sacrifices you made for this great nation of ours and to protect the freedoms that we oftentimes take for granted.
