James BARNETT served in Co. B, 42nd IL inf. 2 g gf Mason F. ROSE .. Ninth Inf. Co. H. Michigan Infantry...Mason F. Rose, died of disease at Chattanooga, March 25, 1865 only days before the surrender at Appomattox. He is buried at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Father, John S. ROSE served stateside during WW II...
