Hi folks, The San Joaquin Library System is providing the funds and the equipment for the libraries and research centers in their system to digitilize their historical photos collections. The benefits seem many fold- The benefit of having these put on CD's will also allow them to be brought to the net! Presentations are being made to the research centers (Yosemite, Coulterville, Mariposa History Center/Museum) our county libraries, and the Historic Sites and Records Preservation Commission by our local Head Librarian, Jacque Merriam, who is heading up this project for Mariposa County.
