Steve Mariposa Gazette, Sept. 27, 1979 Memorial for Colonel Macready A Macready Memorial foundation has been formed in honor of the late Colonel John A. Macready, Ret., much honored officer in the U. S. Air Force for his many records and outstanding services. Funds will be set aside for a building to be used for a museum of the family artifacts, and later an academy will be established. Contributions may be made to the memorial by sending to (address omitted).
