Hi! I don't know if or how our Simpsons are related, but here is what I have: Frank S. GOFF m. NORTH STAR and had a daughter named Katherine Ann GOFF b.18April1875. This was my mother's "Aunt Kitty," who was born in Mariposa County and eventually died in Merced County in 1959. Katherine's first husband was named Ben SIMPSON, and they had three children: George B. SIMPSON b.16July1897 d.3Oct1959 Merced; Ella Mae SIMPSON b.20April1901 d.2July1972 Fresno; and a son Ben SIMPSON. I don't have dates for either of the two Ben Simpsons. Katherine was half Miwok and Ben SIMPSON was also Indian or part Indian. I don't know who his parents were, but Sharon or one of the other Indian researchers might have that information. Do these Simpsons connect with yours?
