    3. I just sent the message below to the CA-RECORDS list- I thought I would also share it here---------the records kept in Santa Clara County would also be the same record types kept in all California Counties for the same time period----so in researching in Mariposa I would hope we could find these also......? Best, Carolyn ================ Hi Mary Helen, Several years ago I did go downstairs at the court and see some naturalization records- and it seems that these books were not in good order..............I don't know which ones I was looking at or what the complete holdings included. Christine Rose has done some compilations of these naturalization records in a small book- I have the book , somewhere:-))!! If you need a look up in the book contact me directly--- If these records have not been filmed- ? perhaps the archives in Kelly Park might have plans to do this??? As for most recent county inventories , perhaps the Court Executive Officer can give you some information--------The day to day business of the court seems to be interrupted by the genealogy researcher------it would be good to get these records filmed and inventoried and out of the realm of needing assistance at the court house------ The last inventory I have for Santa Clara County was the one done by the WPA-1939 -Perhaps is you have this inventory in hand , someone may be better able to find what we know is/was there-???
