I have received an email from someone who wants to get in touch with you Glen they wrote: I was perusing the Mariposa Gen Web page when I came across the article on John W. Phillips written by Glenn Burghardt. There are similarities here to my ggg-grandfather Thomas W. Phillips who came to Mariposa County in 1850 from Iowa County, Wisconsin and who was born in Cornwall in 1809. I am wondering if my Thomas and Mr. Burghardt's John are brothers.
