I received a copy of the following letter from Fresno Diocese: (Letter dated Oct 14, 1942) from Father J. Gilmartin, Rector, St. Patrick's Parish, Sonora, Calif. to Sister M. Thomas, O.P.) Dear Sister: I cannot get any details about Father Dade. I have looked over our records as far back as 1860. I understand the records of the Mariposa Parish were destroyed when the Church at Coulterville was destroyed by fire. I am sorry I can't give you any information re this matter. (Signed: J.
