    3. For those new to hunting in Mariposa, there is a valuable source of information available through the generosity of Bill Disbro. Bill Disbro has finished transcribing the Mariposa Gazette for the above vitals plus other interesting tidbits of history that first appeared in this newspaper. The size of this task was overwhelming and it's value to Mariposa descendants remarkable. They start in 1888 and go through 1922. The latest postings are here: http://www.forumboard.net/2003/index.html The main Mariposa History page which leads to older transcribed records is here: http://www.crosswinds.net/~genehunter/index.htm I know that all researchers will want Bill to know how much we appreciate his time in leaving this legacy. 3. An amazing project that William has completed-! And what a resource to Mariposa researchers- There are links on the Mariposa GenWeb vitals pages (birth, marriages, and obits ) leading over to Williams Gazette data bases----- this now completes the 1854- 1923 data base coverage! Thanks to William and all of you who have contributed to these pages!
