Thanks for the offer Carolyn - P. McElliott was the undertaker for my GG grandparents funerals. However, the only gravesites I have found for the Thomas Hodgson family are Joseph, Elizabeth and John's. All at one site in the Mariposa Public Cemetery. According to the Mariposa Gazette articles, Thomas (the immigrant from England), b. 1817, d. Jan. 11, 1900 - Morman Bar, buried in the Mariposa Public Cemetery and his wife Margaret, b. 1828 England, d. July 3, 1906 - Raymond. Also buried in the Mariposa Public Cemetery. The Parks and Rec dept records on the Cemetery don't show them nor Bertha Schroeder's records. Certainly they would have been buried with/near their children as they died at a later date. The next place to search would be the undertaker's records. (Hopefully, there might be some indication of the grave site locations)??????? Her funeral was conducted by P. McELLIGOTT of Mariposa. Any help appreciated!!!!!!!!!! Mary
Mary- Would you say that the HOPDGSON is a typo? Yes, HOPDGSON is a typo. This Robert was the son of Errol HODGSON & ? McNALLY. Grandson of George HODGSON and Alice PRESTON. Great Grandson of Thomas HODGSON. Joseph, Elizabeth, John and George were all children of Thomas & Margaret HODGSON. English immigrants. (niece & nephews of Ed & Phebe SKELTON - LOL). Thomas HODGSON served as County Supervisor when the vault was being constructed.
