I am reading a census in Ohio...looking for my husband's family. I find this entry: Robert b. 7/1869... 97 years old ...married 18 years wife: Meatilla b. 9/1869 ..96 years old...5 children, 4 living Then it lists the four children, aged 18 yrs old down to 1 yrs old I'm scratching my head at the above and then all of a sudden I see the humor exactly like that of my husband. It would be just like him after a census taker asked for his birthdate to respond with "how old" as 97 years old. As in..."Can't you do the math, dummy?" The funny thing is that the census taker in obvious totally robot fashion recorded the ages of 97 and 96 without seeing the humor. Sharon
