Have been looking for years on any connection to Bob Norris's Great Grandfather to* any* school here in Mariposa County= the family story was that Ole Jr may have "built" the first school. When we finally learned that the old NORRIS homestead was in the Sebastopol vicinity- I had to wonder if he had something to do with that school- Well, what I have found is that Ole JR was a trustee for the Sebastopol School in Sept 1862-1863 based on an old record I found at the History Center. Also note that D C ASHWORTH was a trustee along with Ole JR!!! Hey , fun to think about them knowing each other as we now know each other-! Wonder if there is more? Will be on the lookout!
