I went to the recorder today to see what they had on GAINES mine records.......I had help form the staff, but what they had on file on GAINES mine began in 1889 or so. These records are easily accessible I am told but where I need to look now is in the very old handwritten books------------ Will do next time I get back to the recorders office...........! Anyone have any experience with the mining records books? Best, Carolyn
