    3. My tongue is in my mouth...but not in my cheek. The first 63 generations or so are in the Bible...except the New Testament left out 4 generations you have to pick up. And yes, having a lineage with the Kings of the Franks, King Lear, Charlemagne, etc DOES help...when there are books around that already have layed out your lineage. You are right when you say I'd have to know ALL of them. I was just commenting on what I know so far. Yes, there are loops...but they are further down like 5th cousins. Now...as for who Adam's children married. One isn't suppose to discuss religion or politics right? But since it does have genealogy benefit...I'll PASS ON...how it was taught to me when I studied religion under a Jesuit. Please...do not kill the messenger. Personally, I find it resolves a lot of conflict between science and religion...dinosaurs, age of earth, etc. But everyone is entitled to their own personal beliefs. Anyone wishing to be a fundamentalist, has my blessing. As taught to me, the story of Adam and Eve is a typically allegory of its time fraught with symbolism. At the time, the people knew they weren't the only ones on earth. The earth was full of people active in polytheistic religions...the goddess cult among the forerunners. Adam and Eve were the first Hebrews...the first people to "realize" there was but one God. Now obviously if they only had sons...the sons would have to marry one of the polytheistic women around. As for the Adam genealogy....I descend from Seth. Except for Adam who has wife Eve...I have no wives until generation 22 where Isaac has Rebekah. How did you do?? Sharon
