COLLINS - CLOUGH MARIPOSA GAZETTE, June 6, 1924 SUPERVISOR J. W. COLLINS WEDDED IN OAKLAND Word reached Mariposa on Wednesday of this week of the Marriage in Oakland of Supervisor John W. Collins of Hornitos and Mrs. R. B. Clough of Oakland. The wedding, which occurred on June 9th. came as a great surprise as not even a whisper of the event had reached the ears of Mr. Collins' many friends throughout the County. Mr. and Mrs. Collins, after spending a few days at Hotel Menlo in Oakland will return to Hornitos where they will make their future home. The many friends extend their heartiest congratulations and wish the bride and groom much joy and prosperity on the sear of matrimony.
