    3. Can you imagine being a genealogist in the 21st or 22nd century? We'll have married women buried with maiden names (that WOULD be helpful), married men who took their WIVE'S maiden name, couples buried with hyphenated names where the couple each took each others names and turned them around as to what sounds best...I know a couple like this. Imagine doing the Kirk Douglas or Sheen family...where l/2 the boys took their mom's maiden name for their surname. Or being a descendant of a Farrah Fawcett - Ryan O' Neill where marriage wasn't seen as necessary at all. Not to be confused with all the other Sharons...I sign...SWLFA (She Who Looks For Ancestors) :) At 06:41 AM 2/14/01 -0800, Sue Silver wrote: >Hi Sharon, > >One of the first things I used to get upset about was that it appeared >others had been buried in inalienable family plots. 3. Hi Sharon, One of the first things I used to get upset about was that it appeared others had been buried in inalienable family plots. That is until I met a genealogist that reminded me married members of families who had different names was one of the reasons found for the differences.
