Hello Calvert researchers. My name is Barbara Skinner Joseph and my brother, Larry, and I have been doing Calvert research since Jan. We need help and hope someone out there can rescue us. I have not been able to get hold of O'Gorman's book through our local library or their inter library loan program, so I don't know if this line is in there or not. So, here goes: 1. Thomas Calvert est. birth 1770-1790. Was a soldier of 1812 and held commission under Harrison and was at Fort Meigs and the battle of Tippecanoe. They lived near Boonsboro, MD and came in to VA/WV in the early 1800's. 1. Oliver Calvert b. 1851 Wetzel Co. m. Mary Higgins 2. Isaac Calvert b. abt 1834 Tyler Co. VA m. Nancy Cain 3. Thomas Calvert 4. James Calvert 5. Joseph Calvert 6. John Calvert 7. Albert Gallatin Calvert b 1830 Monongalia Co., VA d. 1908 3. Albert Gallatin Calvert m Mary (Polly) Cain. Albert served in the WV state legislature for two terms in 1876 and 1878 1. Mary Jane Calvert b. 1858 m . Daniel Pruitt 2. David Webster Calvert b. 1859 3. Thomas J. Calvert b. 1862 4. Dora Calvert 5. Hampton Lee Calvert 6. John Ewing Calvert, b. 1856 Wetzel County d. 1906 All of the above children were born in VA/WV. Mary Calvert and Daniel Pruitt's Children are: Robert, Everett, Alrada, William, Friend and Dora. 4. John Ewing Calvert m. Martha Lemasters in 1876 1. C.W. Calvert 2. Charles R. Calvert 3. Isadore R. Calvert 4. Pearl C. Calvert 5. Arthur Calvert b. 1876 6. Albert Gallatin Calvert b. 1882 (my grandfather) 7. Shannon W. Calvert b. 1884 8. Lista C. Calvert b. 1888 9. Elza Calvert b. 1895 10. Rusha Virginia Calvert b. 1886 Several of these children moved to OK in the early 1900's. Shannon was in Atlanta, GA, Arthur was in Joplin, Mo., Pearl married a Dulaney and lived in Akron, OH, Rusha married Clyde Nutter and lived in WV. My grandfather, Albert G.
